class penzai.core.variables.AbstractVariableSlot

Bases: Struct, ABC

Base class for all variable slots.

Slots are placeholders for variables that have been unbound from a pytree. They must be PyTree nodes, and should also be hashable (i.e. they should not contain any array data or mutable types).
